About Me

I am passionate about people, cultures and communication, hence my first degree in writing, followed by a masters in International Development management, transitioning later into the field of humanistic psychotherapy.

Previously at Headstrong Counselling UK, I now work in private practice both online and in person from my office in Palma, Mallorca.

Before becoming a therapist I worked for a diverse mix of public health and international development organisations.

I have worked in Nepal, Ethiopia, across Latin America including Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Peru and Spain.

Working across cultures and communities has taught me to hold space for different perspectives, honour complexity and stay curious. These ways of being shape how I work today.

I welcome clients from all backgrounds, identities, and experiences. If you'd like to talk through what you need to feel safe and supported in therapy, I'm here for that conversation.

Member Organisations

I am a registered member of the following professional organisations and adhere to their codes of ethics:

United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy

United Kingdom Association of Transactional Analysis

European Association of Transactional Analysis

The modality of therapy in which I practice is Transactional Analysis (TA).

TA is a collection of concepts used for self-awareness, personal development, and improved relationships. It is used to analyse, interrupt, and challenge problematic or limiting patterns of behaviour, thoughts and feelings, promote autonomy, freedom, and agency, and support personal growth and transformation.

The TA model integrates humanistic, existential, behavioural, and psychoanalytic modalities, allowing me to work from a broad spectrum of evidence-based approaches. I also incorporate clinical experience, theoretical training, and ongoing professional development.

Research has shown that TA is an effective, evidence-based psychotherapy.

You can learn more about TA theory here.
