How does it work?

1. Free Consultation

I offer a free 15 minute consultation online, where you can ask questions and we can explore why you’re seeking support. If you’d like to continue, we can schedule our first session.

2. First Session

The first session helps us decide if we’re a good fit. I’ll ask about your background to ensure our work is safe, ethical, and suited to your needs.

Feeling comfortable and trusting your therapist is essential for achieving your goals.

3. Agreement to Work Together

If we continue, we can agree on either a short-term contract (we might start with 8 sessions for example, then review after that), or an open-ended arrangement where we continue until you feel the work is complete.

FAQs

  • The number of sessions we have together will depend on what you are looking for, and the depth and complexity of the issues you want to work on. I recommend starting with a minimum of 6 - 8 sessions, and from there we can decide if you would like to continue with a further set amount and review again after that, or to proceed on a long term, open-ended basis.

  • Sessions are weekly. The frequency may be adjusted as you make progress, or if your circumstances don’t allow for this commitment on a long term basis.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, I ask for 7 days notice as your slot is reserved just for you. Cancellation after this will be charged for. But of course, emergencies happen—just let me know, and we’ll figure it out together. You can cancel or reschedule by email or WhatsApp, whichever is easiest for you
